From 16 to 19 June 2025, I took part in the SNK AI Challenge 2025, part of the "Training 100 Young People in AI in Cameroon" program led by the SNK Foundation in Yaoundé.

Far more than a technical training, this experience let me explore the real-world potential of artificial intelligence and reflect on how emerging technologies can address concrete challenges in our communities. Learning alongside other young people passionate about innovation reinforced a belief that guides my journey: technology only truly matters when it serves people and the development of our societies.

After four days of intensive learning, exchange and hands-on practice, I received a certificate of completion. This milestone strengthens my resolve to keep exploring artificial intelligence and digital innovation, with the ambition of contributing to solutions that matter for Cameroon and for Africa.

From 18 to 20 August 2026, I had the honor of taking part in the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Cameroon, a major gathering bringing together public institutions, the private sector, civil society, experts and young people around a strategic question: how can data be better governed, protected and leveraged to support the country's digital transformation?

Beyond the technical discussions, the experience strengthened my conviction that young people must play a central role in the decisions shaping Cameroon's digital future. As a young professional in technology and networking, I came away with fresh perspectives and a renewed drive to keep contributing to a more inclusive, secure and innovative digital ecosystem.

Data sits at the heart of our digital future: let's build together the rules and skills needed to turn it into a true engine of development.

I'm honored to have been selected to join Cohort 2.0 of the Pan-African Youth Impact Bootcamp (PAYIB), a fully-funded program run by The African Student Summit.

This year, the program received over 4,000 applications from 59 countries, including 47 African countries. Being chosen to join this community of young Africans committed to learning, building, leading and shaping the continent's future is both an honor and a responsibility.

Beyond a simple training program, this experience is a unique opportunity to collaborate with young people from across the continent, strengthen my leadership skills, and learn how to turn ambition into initiatives with real impact. Over the coming weeks, I look forward to growing my pan-African network, learning from other participants' journeys, and contributing fully to the program's activities.

A new pan-African adventure begins, driven by the conviction that the continent's youth has a central role to play in shaping its own future.
